TURN OFF YOUR DAMN COMMENT WORD VERIFICATION!!!!
I love your blog. I love to comment on your blog.
But I am so damn sick of typing in those characters to prove I am not a Comment Bot/Spammer, I could simply SPIT!!!
Please…for the love of all that is good and holy… TURN IT OFF!!!!! You know how many times I have been spammed? in 80 posts? Zero. Bagel. Bupkus. Nada. So PLEASE do it, already.
Here’s how in the New Blogger:
Click Customize
Click the Settings Tab
Click Comments
Where it says “Show word verification for comments?” put the radial button in “No”
Click Save Settings, and you are done.
While you are at it, can you also make it so I can reply to your comment over email? Here’s how.

Dude! I did a post about that a couple of weeks ago. What the heck? Most of the time I can’t read the damn letters anyway and then I end up doing it twice. Grrr!
And mine has been about 250 posts and I HAVE been spammed – ONCE. *delete* – Easy Breezy.

I turned mine off a week or two ago. I turned it on for having two spams but I realize I can delete comments for that reason and I saw another of the bloggers I follow was complaining about them because of dyslexia. I honestly never thought of that. So off it came.

Word verification drives me nuts, especially the typepad one that loads a new page for i. Sorry but once I have hit 'post' I move on to the next tab & I won't see that word verification until I go to close the tab, when a new one will need to load itself. Assuming I don't just close my browser.
The word verication for a guy’s site I visited last night was “undie” hw funny is THAT? Just for the record- I HATE WV.

Hallelujah…in no offensive way. LOL! I HATE word verification…especially when I FAIL and have to do it AGAIN!! Please turn them OFF people!! It’s a waste of time!! Time is PRECIOUS!!

I hate word verification. But sadly, I do get spammed if I turn it off. It happens the moment I hit “Publish”. At least 10 spam comments will automatically appear. I can’t stand that either. I wish I could turn it off, but I just can’t stand being harassed like that. (On my little nondescript mommy blog with oh so few readers … why don’t they leave me alone?)
Sorry. Wish I could shut it off. If I could, I surely would.

i originally did not have it on …but then I got spammed comments …so I turned it on. I will remove it …maybe…. but if I get so much as ONE, I’m turning it back on …lol

The word verification on some people’s blogs are not working! When I try to leave a comment the word verification pops up but never loads. Get the word out! Turn the dang thing off!
