OMG, I see that done all the time. Even by lawyers!

And I had a secretary once who changed a brief I drafted without my knowledge. I signed it and allowed her to file it, only to later discover that she changed "cinnamon roll" to "Cinnamon roll." I was mortified. That's when we had a little talk about the scope of her duties being limited to correcting page breaks and other formatting issues, but NOTHING ELSE. Oi.

And I thought I was the only grammar elitist in town! I see this all the time especially on "hand painted" made in China home decor. My favorite from last Halloween was "Bewear of Ghosts"....idiots!

I'm glad I'm not the only anal one who notices those things. I REALLY hate when giant billboards have grammatical errors on them. Is there really that short of a supply of editors? Or can companies no longer afford to hire them?
